Jachthaven Boei 12

Location: Roegeweg 1, Steendam, Netherlands

Jachthaven Boei 12 has operated since 1970 on the southern shore of the Schildmeer at Steendam, one of Groningen's principal watersports lakes at 284 hectares. The harbour berths around 95 boats at jetties fitted with anti-slip decking, LED lighting, water and electricity, and backs this up with modern showers and toilets, a six-tonne crane and a trailer slipway. The season for berths and visitors runs from April to the end of October, with winter storage available year round. From the lake, boaters can reach the city of Groningen, the Zuidlaardermeer and, via the Groningen canal network, the Wadden Sea. Contact runs through the harbour office at Roegeweg 3c.
