Jachthaven Bakhuizen

Location: Ambachtsweg 65, Bakhuizen, Netherlands

Jachthaven Bakhuizen is a small village harbour in Gaasterland, southwest Friesland, between the Frisian lakes and the IJsselmeer. It is run on a non-profit basis by the association Bakhuister Haven, founded in 1992, and has a membership of over 55 berth holders. The harbour offers 27 larger berths plus about 25 places for rowing and fishing boats, and keeps room for visitors in the newer basin and along the stone quay. Facilities are simple but complete: showers, toilets, chemical toilet disposal, power pedestals, water points and a trailer ramp for small boats. The village and the Gaasterland woods are within walking distance.
