Jachthaven Almelo Centrum (J.A.C.)

Jachthaven Almelo Centrum, known locally as J.A.C., is the municipal marina in the heart of Almelo in Overijssel, owned by the city since April 1998. The basin at Haven NZ, at the head of the branch canal off the Twentekanaal, holds between 90 and 120 yachts and serves both permanent berth holders and visiting crews, with apartments and shops around the water. Most facilities sit in and around the historic Houtstek building, secured with fingerprint access and cameras. Berth holders and guests get showers and toilets with disabled access, a washing machine and dryer, shore power on the floating docks and quay, drinking water, pump-out for chemical toilets and wireless internet.
