Jachthaven Achterbos

Jachthaven Achterbos sits on the Vinkeveense Plassen, one of the clearest and busiest watersports lakes in the western Netherlands, at Achterbos 22B in Vinkeveen. The family firm combines moorings with a broad yard operation: sales of new and used boats, summer and winter storage, a boat lift for craft up to 2,500 kg, maintenance and repair work, and an in-house sailmaker. Boat hire is available for visitors who want a day on the lakes, and a scuba academy operates from the site, a nod to the diving culture on these deep former peat workings. The office is open Tuesday to Saturday, with other days by appointment.
