It Wiid
Location: Koaidyk 10, Earnewâld, Netherlands
It Wiid lies at Earnewâld on the edge of the Alde Feanen, a national park of lakes, reed beds and peat channels in central Friesland. The business combines a holiday park and campsite with three harbours that hold about 450 boats, plus roughly 20 guest berths. Passanten are welcome. Rental covers sloops, Valk sailboats, motorboats and canoes, so the harbour also suits crews without their own boat. Ashore there are a heated outdoor pool, a supermarket and a cafe restaurant. From the jetties boats enter the Alde Feanen directly and reach Grou, Drachten and the wider Frisian lake district on sheltered water.
