Hoora is a family watersports business at Golden Boaijum in Heeg, active since 1978, on the water that connects the village to the Heegermeer and the wider Frisian lakes. The firm builds open sailing boats, yachts and sloops at its own yard, Hoora Yachts, and runs a rental fleet that includes Valk class open sailboats, electric sloops and small cabin boats, none of which need a licence. The site is a rental base and small marina rather than a classic visitor harbour: four houseboats with waterside terraces can be booked for overnight stays, and boats go out for day trips onto the Heegermeer. Heeg's village centre, with shops and restaurants, is within walking distance.
