Herkingen Marina

Location: Marinaweg 26, Herkingen, Netherlands

Herkingen Marina is a modern harbour at Herkingen on the island of Goeree-Overflakkee in Zuid-Holland, on the northern shore of the Grevelingenmeer, the largest saltwater lake in western Europe. The marina has around 400 berths for boats between 7 and 15 metres, plus guest moorings, with indoor and outdoor winter storage available on site. Access is through a narrow marked fairway with a maximum draught of 2.10 metres. The harbour has flown the Blue Flag since 1997, a certification for water quality and environmental management. The tideless, salt Grevelingen is popular with both sailors and divers, and Brouwershaven and Bruinisse lie within easy reach across the lake.
