Helenawerf Watersport has operated from the Maasboulevard in Roermond since the early 1960s and is now run by the third generation of the same family, with Vivian Hendrix and Roy Smeets in charge since 2004. Its harbour, La Bonne Aventure, sits in the Voorstad Sint Jacob district on the Maas, at the edge of the Maasplassen lake system that makes this stretch of Limburg one of the busiest inland cruising grounds in the Netherlands. The yard offers a full service package alongside berthing: repair and maintenance, haul-out, indoor and outdoor winter storage, a chandlery shop and pitches for campers.
