Haven aan den Rijn lies on the Oude Rijn at Industrieweg 2a in Alphen aan den Rijn, in the Groene Hart between Leiden and Utrecht. The harbour has 68 fixed berths for boats of 6 to 12 metres on floating docks with finger piers, plus 12 visitor berths on a newer jetty. Each box has its own shore power point. The site shares its grounds with shipyard Wester-Engh, which offers repairs, a 20-tonne fixed boat lift, indoor winter storage and do-it-yourself sheds. There is a harbour office with toilets and showers, and parking on site. From the berths the Braassemermeer, Kaag and Leiden circuit is within easy reach. Shops and restaurants sit along the nearby waterfront.
