Grashaven
Location: Grashaven 1, Hoorn, Netherlands
The Grashaven is Hoorn's largest marina, with roughly 700 berths for permanent and visiting yachts and direct access to the Markermeer. It has been operated by the non-profit Stichting Jachthaven Hoorn since the foundation was established in 1969, with its harbour office at Visserseiland 221. Facilities include a minimarket with a terrace, marine engine repair, hoisting equipment and De Huiskamer, a shared clubroom that serves coffee and meals. The historic centre of Hoorn, with its VOC-era waterfront and the Hoofdtoren, is a short walk away. From the harbour mouth the open water of the Markermeer and IJsselmeer ports such as Enkhuizen are within easy reach.
