Gemeentelijke passantenplaatsen aan het Spaarne

Haarlem's municipal visitor moorings line the Spaarne, the river that winds through the old city past the Teylers Museum and the windmill De Adriaan. There are roughly 200 visitor places along the quays, most of them with electricity and water points, and a wheelchair-accessible mooring with sanitary facilities at the Kelderwindkade. The moorings are managed by the city harbour service, based at Spaarndamseweg 1, which also coordinates the bridge openings that let masted yachts through on the standing mast route between Amsterdam and the whole of Zuid-Holland. Mooring in the centre puts crews within a short walk of the Grote Markt, and the Mooie Nel and Spaarndam lie just downstream.
