Gemeentelijke Passantenhaven Meppel

The municipal visitors' harbour of Meppel puts crews within a short walk of the Drenthe town's shops and terraces. Around 77 visitor berths are spread across the harbour and along the quays of the city canals, which are reached from the Meppelerdiep through the Meppelersluis lock; further moorings lie near a campsite at the entrance to the Buitenhaven. Shore power, drinking water, toilets, showers and waste water disposal are available at the harbour office and in the centre, and a trailer ramp can be found at the campsite. The harbourmaster is reachable on 0522 850720. Meppel makes a natural staging post between the IJsselmeer approaches and the Drents-Friese canal network.
