Gemeentelijke Passantenhaven Akkrum (AWS Eendracht)
Location: Ljouwerterdyk 2a, Akkrum, Netherlands
The municipal visitor harbour of Akkrum lies on the Heechein in the centre of the village, on the Frisian through-route between the Prinses Margrietkanaal and the lakes around Grou. Watersport club AWS Eendracht, founded about a century ago, runs the harbour on behalf of the municipality. It has around 20 fixed berths and 50 guest berths. Showers and toilets are behind the harbour building; the toilets stay open around the clock and the harbour office is staffed daily from 16:00 to 17:00 in season. Shops and cafes in Akkrum are a short walk from the jetties. The club also manages a second harbour and several quays in the village.
