Gemeentelijke Jachthaven Dok

Location: Dok 17, Nieuwolda, Netherlands

Gemeentelijke Jachthaven Dok is the small municipal harbour of Nieuwolda in Groningen's Oldambt region, cut into the Termunterzijldiep on the through route between Blauwestad and the sea lock at Termunterzijl, with Delfzijl beyond. The basin holds about ten permanent berths, and four guest places are supplemented by bank moorings along the canal. Facilities are modest: toilets and showers are found at Eetcafe de Brug beside the harbour, which also serves meals and takeaway snacks. A supermarket and bicycle hire in the village cover provisioning, and a trailer slipway lies nearby at Dok 13, so the harbour works well as a quiet overnight stop on passage to the Eems.
