Gemeentehaven Moerdijk
Location: Haven 20, Moerdijk, Netherlands
The gemeentehaven of Moerdijk village sits on the Hollands Diep, west of the great bridges, and remains a working municipal harbour rather than a marina. Fishing vessels, commercial craft and a group of resident berth holders share the basin, and harbour guides list no guest berths for passing yachts. Change is under way: the Waterfront Moerdijk project will renew the quays and harbour furniture and add a small-scale section for recreational boating, with utility works completed in 2026 ahead of the main renovation. Until that opens, visiting crews are better served by Jachthaven Noordschans a few kilometres west. The harbourmaster can be reached on 06 50678301.
