Gemeentehaven Broek op Langedijk

Location: Havenplein 24, Broek op Langedijk, Netherlands

The Gemeentehaven of Broek op Langedijk is a municipal visitor harbour with 17 berths in the bend of the Kanaal Alkmaar-Kolhorn, west of the lock between Prins Hendrikkade and Sluiskade. It works on a first-come basis; reservations and annual berths are not possible. Shore power and a water tap are available. A small building at the head of the harbour has a shower and toilet; the key is held by the harbour master. From 15 April to 15 October, volunteers staff the harbour and the adjacent lock. The village is the gateway to the Oosterdel, a remnant of the old thousand-islands vegetable-garden landscape, and the Broeker Veiling auction museum lies close by.
