Geijsman Jachthaven
Location: De Ruy 6, Oostvoorne, Netherlands
Jachthaven Geijsman, run by the family firm Geijsman Watersport, lies at the Zanddijk on the Brielse Maas at Oostvoorne, wedged between the dunes of Voorne and the port of Rotterdam. Berths at well-kept piers come with shore power and water, backed by ample toilet, shower and laundry facilities and a chandlery stocked with paints, antifoulings, rope, wetsuits, lifejackets and VETUS parts. The marina holds the Blue Flag environmental award. The Brielse Maas is a sheltered recreational lake of some 750 hectares and ten kilometres in length, with free mooring at outlying jetties, small beaches and marked swimming zones, a forgiving cruising ground close to the North Sea locks.
