Erfgoedhavens Rotterdam

Location: Haringvliet 68, Rotterdam, Netherlands

Stichting Erfgoedhavens Rotterdam manages the historic basins of central Rotterdam, from the Schiedamsedijk to the Oostmaaslaan, together with part of old Delfshaven. The harbours include the Oude Haven, Haringvliet, Leuvehaven, Wijnhaven, Scheepmakershaven, Boerengat and Buizengat, and most moorings are reserved for historic commercial vessels of fifty years or older. More than 180 ships lie here, around 120 of them inhabited, one of the largest gatherings of floating heritage in Europe. Sections of the basins are arranged as a yacht marina, a sloop harbour and a transient harbour for visiting recreational craft, so cruising boats can spend a night among sailing barges and steam tugs within walking distance of the Markthal.
