De Hoek Watersport

De Hoek Watersport is a small family business at Dijken near Langweer, central in the Frisian lakes. The harbour lies on the Jaansloot, the channel between the Langweerder Wielen and the Koevordermeer, and has 25 to 30 berths with a few visitor places. Depth is about 1.20 metres and boat length is limited to 10 metres, so the harbour suits motorboats and shallow-draft sailers. The company rents motorboats, sloops, sailboats, fishing boats and SUP boards; sloops require no licence. Holiday apartments in a 19th-century farmhouse, bicycle and e-bike rental, maintenance work and winter storage on land complete the operation. Wifi covers the harbour and parking is free.
