Camping Jachthaven De Waterwolf
Location: Teenstraweg 4, Lauwerzijl, Netherlands
De Waterwolf combines a campsite, a marina and a cafe restaurant on the Reitdiep at Lauwerzijl, in the quiet Middag-Humsterland region of Groningen. The harbour has more than 120 berths and takes everything from small fishing boats to larger yachts, with electricity and water connections, a diesel sales point and a workshop for technical repairs. Ashore the site has a heated open air swimming pool, hot showers, a laundry, a playground and a terrace at the restaurant. The Reitdiep is one of the oldest waterways in the north and links the city of Groningen with Zoutkamp and the Lauwersmeer, so the harbour works well as a stop on that route.
