Camping/Jachthaven de Rietschoof

Camping en Jachthaven de Rietschoof lies in the floodplain of the Afgedamde Maas at Maasdijk 15 in Aalst, in the Bommelerwaard region of Gelderland. The marina has around 125 berths for seasonal guests and passanten, and a trailer ramp at Maasdijk 15a. Harbour guests can use the facilities of the 20-hectare campsite: a sandy river beach, swimming pool, sanitary buildings, play areas, sports fields, a fish pond and a cafe. The site is open from 1 April to 1 October. The Afgedamde Maas is quiet water with little commercial traffic and connects south via the Heusdensch Kanaal to the Bergsche Maas, which makes the harbour a practical base for river cruising.
