Camping en Passantenhaven It Krúswetter

It Krúswetter, Frisian for crossing waters, is a small camping site with a passantenhaven at Easterlittens in the middle of Friesland, where the Boalserter Feart meets the Frentsjerter Feart. The quiet canals suit sloops and shallow motor cruisers on routes between Leeuwarden, Franeker and Bolsward. The site at Skrinserdyk 10 is an ANWB-recognised four star minicamping with pitches for caravans and tents plus trekkershutten for hikers and boaters. A pavilion restaurant with a waterside terrace serves guests, and motorboats can be rented on site. Solar panels supply about seventy percent of the electricity used. The surrounding terp villages are linked by walking and cycling routes through open farmland.
