Camping De Krabbeplaat

Location: Oude Veerdam 4, Brielle, Netherlands

De Krabbeplaat is a 4.5-star family campsite with its own small harbour on the Brielse Meer, just outside the fortified town of Brielle on Voorne-Putten. The marina has 84 fixed berths and 5 visitor berths, plus a slipway with an electric winch. Campers can also moor their own boats for a modest fee. The Brielse Meer is a freshwater lake, popular with sloops, small sailboats and waterskiers; a waterski school works from the harbour and a neighbouring business rents boats. Ashore there are 350 pitches, rental lodges and chalets, sanitary buildings, a spray park and a public sandy beach with a marked swimming area. Brielle, with its ramparts and historic centre, is a short cycle ride away.
