Aqualux Yachtcharter

Aqualux Yachtcharter operates from its own small harbour at It String in Jirnsum, a village on the Boarn in the middle of Friesland. The location is well placed for the Frisian lakes: the Pikmeer at Grou lies about twenty minutes' sailing to the north and the Sneekermeer about twenty minutes to the south. The company is first a charter business, with a fleet of six motor yachts for two to twelve people, equipped with bow and stern thrusters, GPS plotters and generators. Mark and Anne-Marie have owned the firm since 2023. The berths mainly serve the charter fleet, so visiting boats should call ahead rather than count on a passantenplaats.
